DD-40/41

Acoustic dosimeters

The DD-40 and DD-41 are personal noise dosimeters which conform to the requirements of EN 61252 and EN 61672 standards.

Use

The DD-41 (class 1) and DD-40 (class 2) noise dosimeters are intended for the measurement of the noise dose which the worker is exposed to in the working time. They are also integrating sound level meters. The dosimetric measurements are conducted in the situation when a worker moves around different workplaces, so it is difficult to determine their exposure to the noise in any other way. They are also carried out in the situations when it is impossible to measure the noise level for any other reasons.

Reliability of mesurement

During the measurement it is possible to save the measurement history and register the audio samples for their analysis in the DSA Monitor software afterwards. The synchronization of the audio recording with the measurement history log enables to identify the source of the recorded noise and to delete the data which is not related to the work being done (e.g. the loud music, an ambulance driving past, etc.).

Co-operation with PC

In order to configure the dosimeter, it is necessary to use the DDconf software which is connected with the meter through the USB. It enables to programme the settings, operational mode, trigerring of audio events recording, etc. The DSA Monitor software enables the download and analysis of the registered history log as well as listening to the recorded audio events.

Features

  • Measurement of the SPL, Peak, Sound exposure level LAE, Sound exposure EA [Pa2h].
  • High-capacity memory (4GB) enables to store the measurement history log and save the audio samples.
  • Measurement history log recording at intervals 1s, 5s, 15s and 60s.
  • Different methods of measurement triggering (at a specified time, on button, start when the set sound level is exceeded).
  • Measurement time programming with a resolution of 1s.
  • Real-time clock.
